Sociecity Photo Contest

Our photo editor picks an image each month that embodies the spirit of sociecity, for feature on our homepage and in our daily and weekly newsletter.

What Photo(s) Should I Send?

Any photograph that is truthful, dynamic, and that gives us a sense of people and place are fair game in this contest. Photos don’t necessarily have to include people, and could range from social gathering spots, to the balance between nature and man-made structures; the focus could be big and grand, but could just as easily be tiny and overlooked.

The most important tip is simply to keep your mind open and show us how people and places both big and small make the world what it is.
